Ann Njeri,

Ann Njeri Ndiangui is a lady with a big heart and passion for Africa. She holds a diploma in Information Technology and her passion to reach out and influence lives inspired her to undertake a Diploma in Psychology Counseling. She is an activist who believes in the wellness of every human being. Recently, she was awarded the “Outstanding Service Award” by the Women Information Network during International Women’s Day.

Currently, Njeri is working with Initiatives of Change (IofC) Kenya in Peace Building and Conflict Transformation as the Communications Officer for Africa. She is one of the International Coordinators for Creators of Peace Program (a women’s peace initiative for women around the world) and is a great campaigner for ‘No Tribalism’ in Kenya- a campaign that she started in 2007. She has served under IofC in many parts of the world including Africa, Asia, Europe and Australia for the last five years with bias on Peace and Reconciliation, Creative Leadership programs for young people as well as Leadership and Governance programs.

Besides being a graduate of the Action for Life (AFL) leadership program - a seven month international leadership training program in Asia - Ann is also a graduate of Harambee Africa Leadership Program - a six week African leadership training program, both under Initiatives of Change. She has attended and spoken on issues of leadership, peace and social responsibility in many local and international events including the Caux Human Security forum in Switzerland, Tools for Change Conference in Malaysia, International Day of Peace in Australia, and Eastern Africa Youth Conference in Kenya just to mention a few.
