Kathleen I. Niew,
Attorney, Financial Educator and Advisor
Kathleen I. Niew, President and founder of The Niew Group, LLC, is a well known professional insurance advisor and financial educator and attorney. Educating throughout the Chicago area and the Midwest for over 25 years, Kathleen specializes in estate planning and probate law. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the DuPage County Bar Association. Kathleen's passion is to educate and assist people in solving problems: from financial management to strategic estate planning. Listening to her clients' issues, and functioning as a guide through the options available, she maps out a lasting financial path - for retirement, for charitable giving and for loved ones. She strongly believes in the empowerment of the client coming first and foremost. As a financial educator, Kathleen defined the six major money problems that everyone faces and relized their common-sense solutions. She identified low-risk, rock-solid investments, with tax strategies to match. She confirms these solutions work for clients who range from blue-collar workers to priveleged executives; she set out to put it into plain language for anyone who wished financial independence. In 2004, her book "Moneykeeping for Modern Times" was published, and Kathleen hit the lecture and interview circuit to spread the word of this simple and effective plan. Kathleen's activities include being a Member with the Board of Directors for A New Day in Cambodia, a not-for-profit organization, fund raising for PACTT, a not-for-profit organization assisting young people suffering from Autism, Chairman of Field Advisory Board of Columbus Life Insurance Company, a member of MDRG Court of the Table, Lectures to women regarding "Money Talks for Women", and greatly enjoys running, hiking, traveling and reading for leisure.
