Sue Tonks is an International Speaker and Training Consultant specializing in all aspects Management and Personal Development.
With a varied background of working at senior level within the Logistics, Travel and Tourism, Sales, Government, Hotel and Catering industries Sue has developed a great insight into the role of women in the business environment and how they portray themselves in business settings.
Over the last 12 years Sue has run her own Training Consultancy, delivering bespoke training programs to a variety of industry sectors and organizations both nationally and internationally. She is an acclaimed International Keynote Speaker on Business Development and Planning and is one of the world’s top Trainers and Speakers in the field of Networking.
About 5 years ago, Sue began to specialize in the field of Women’s Business Networking. She realized that women needed to use their special skills to break down many of the barriers to their business success and “be taken seriously” on a major business stage. According to Sue Tonks, “It is so important for women to develop their skills and talents to raise their profile, deal effectively with the unbalanced world of the 80/20 principle and create long term business relationships if they are to succeed in the ever changing demands of the business world today.”
Sue Tonks works closely with organizations such as Barclays, Royal Bank of Scotland, Shell, KPMG, DLA Piper, Manchester United, Pinsent Masons, Adidas, Compass Group, Group 4 Securitas, Co-operative Group, Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank. And works with London Business School, Durham Business School, Birmingham University and UCL (University of Central London) as part of their ongoing MBA and Post Graduate Programmes.
Sue Tonks graduated from Lancaster University with a Joint Honours Degree in Psychology and Sociology. She later gained a post graduate qualification in Management from Aston University, holds an International CPC, HGV Class 1 and Fork Lift Truck Licence and later gained CPID qualifications from Salford University.
Her training role started as a Dale Carnegie Instructor, where she worked as an Associate for 16 years. Sue's unique, humorous and highly practical style allows women to understand the importance of creating the right impression, deal effectively with business opportunities and create long lasting relationships both in the business arena and in all social settings.
